If you were a MM , and they halted trading on the shares you were a MM for, during the last day of trading and you were short on the last day of trading ,wouldn't you want to fill out your proper forms in order to cover a short position that you were a MM for, instead having a new MM come into the game that is not short any positions and can start taking buy and sell orders right away, does not have to bother if he is short, remember the last day of trading there were over 850,000 shares traded, thats buy and sell total. I think MM are short unless they were informed of the halt before hand,so they would want to get all forms filled in a hurry so they can cover the short position, when this resumes trading Tuesday. Now you can have your turn at them don't sell. Remember they never had a couple of days to walk the price down like they usually do. We all know how MM work after a little rally in price for one day. The next week they are playing hard ball and won't budge in bid price. Until you get another MM who is willing to cut the other MM throat in upping his bid price to get a seller. With all the press the last two weeks this stock has been getting and hopefully new investors in,I wouldn't count on this stock going to pink sheets. Reason , as investors of GE we do not have the quotes and information about the company when it is needed, at a time like this. Your broker's firm will not be able to get a quote for you unless they are equipped to handle pink sheet stocks. Unfair advantage to investors, remember the concerns of SEC. Your account balances will not be updated, every time when getting info quotes etc. The only reason why some of my stocks trade on pink sheet is because they have gone belly up,this is not the case here,GE has not filed for chapter 7 or 11. Most companies that trade on pink sheet is because they are really new and little funding, hoping later to get on BB,then regular NASDAQ listing or they have gone belly up. There are companies that just sit there with nothing that are just a shell, hoping that someone will come and buy the shell like GE did. So do not worry about pink sheet IMO ***Just remember do not PUT a SELL order in before 9:30 AM.**** Do not give your shares away. Remember how MM work TAKE THE LAST FEW DAYS LEFT and learn their game. Remember they are just as greedy as the daytrader.
