Off Subject

To All,
This thread deals with the subject of Reverse splits.

REVERSE SPLITS SUCK! PHOOEY... I'm Mad as Hell......and I'm not Going to Take
it Anymore!!!!!!!!

If you trade the pennies enough, the dreaded "RS" will surely eventually rob you. Rarely
are reverse splits successful, and many publicly owned companies are using them as a
way to create no-fault/no-pay financing at the expense of unsuspecting investors.
Sometimes there are clear signs that a split is possible or likely. Sometimes signs can
be more difficult to read. Let's discuss in this forum, Subject 21843 ways to spot the signs of the reverse split so that
maybe we can all learn to identify some of the warnings. Tell us about a split you have
been involved in or just vent some anger about being robbed by this legal form of theft.
This thread is open to all. Please share anything you may have.

S~

At the risk of sounding ill (I am not knocking DaBrink) .... has anyone has asked Bob how long he sticks with his favorites when they are underperforming? For example, what would it take for Bob to switch from Price European to Vanguard or Invesco? If one has money in an IRA, does it not make sense to chase returns and reward the mutual fund company with the best 1, 3 or 5 yr total returns?

I have posted more on this at suite101.com

thanks
Kirk out

Yes Pete, those were the days. Brinker hosted the original
Moneytalk programs every Saturday 6 to 10 am from October
1981 to 1982 then switched to the 10 am to 2 pm timeslot
until he got the call to join the ABC Radio Network.
Many callers on recent Moneytalk programs have referred back
to the "Gift Horse of the Century" buy signal Brinker issued
on WMCA in August 1982 at Dow 788 on August 14. Too bad
everybody in the country couldn't listen back then, but
WMCA broadcasts in New York City with a 5000 watt signal
that only covers the New York Metro area. And do you remember
which mutual fund he told everybody to buy? It was 20th Century
Ultra...which has gone up so much since then I have lost count!
