I think that's what the Intel faithful are living on....IBM, AMD and NSM will never catch up to Intel's process technology. Actually it's kind of like "living on borrowed time" isn't it?

IBM is currently making the flagship 6x86mx-pr333 on .30u while they are capable of .25u. Sounds to me like they aren't using their best on Cyrix. Also, the logistics of not developing the chip only the process has to take more time to get started, doesn't it?
Those couple of months mean Cyrix is always further behind in the MHz race than they would be if they had their own fab?
When the MXi then PCOAC comes and NSM can Fab them...it's gonna
be a nightmare for Intel.
