"Steve, you're being inconsistent. You're choosing to believe that the Jews misunderstood and understood Jesus (Pbuh) when it best fits you. So you want me to believe the Jews misunderstood their own prophecy (even though the Hebrew text points to otherwise) and then understood Jesus (Pbuh) when they thought he claimed to be equal to God." You're doing what you accuse me of. It's funny how this is going. You think I am blind. I think you are! It's no win! But I am trying.... I told you that the Jews frequently misunderstood Jesus. But the claim of being God, its not hard to misunderstand that. Jesus said, "Your are forgiven"! God can only forgive sins. There is no deep meaning or something great that has to be misunderstood. All you need to know is God is the only one that could forgive sins. This is clear in the bible! You are over analyzing it! This example I set forth above takes very little knowledge of the scriptures, but you are trying to apply the principles of your's and many's deep education and thought on it! Men are not perfect. This is a perfect example of it! Now understanding Isaiah. I agree that one takes a little more analysis, although it doesn't take a rocket scientist. So don't apply rocket science to it! God wouldn't make it that hard. He is a loving God! All that you do is ask him for the truth with open heart and mind! Then all of this becomes perfectly clear, as it is to me! Whatever you think, the Jews could have misunderstood Isaiah's prophecies and know at the same time that Jesus was claiming to be God! Its not a logical impossibility! The end! You go ahead and laugh or mock me about my assurances from God. But if you do (as you do when I say to pray), then you obviously have a problem! And if your God allows that, that should tell you something about what you believe in! I once again will quote: Matthew 5:39 39 but I say unto you, resist not him that is evil: but whosoever smiteth thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. God Bless You, Steve
