Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I do not get to read all of the post as I am over here in Singapore through at least the end of the year. So when the market is open, I am sleeping! (Actually, I watch the opening on CNBC) The advantage is I get more coverage on what is going here in Asia. Like, they just announced on CNN International that Japan is wavering on th e"permanent tax cuts" or that there is a split in the LDP on the tax cuts or that Hashimoto said "they would reexamine the tax system." Yen should probably break 140 and head towards 150 unless they get it ironed out....

I read Dent's previous book but it called for a depression from 2007 or something until about 2020 or something like that.

I also thought his numbers were low in the previous book, because his high of 8300 or something like that just did not make sense with the Great Boom. It would have just been normal returns.

I'll have to read the new book...
