The stock is borrowable at the major firms to these accounts although there
is no short rebate(for those of you who are sophisticated enough to know what that is).
This stock will eventually collapse just as KTEL, MU, WDC, PTEN, CHK, and many
other stocks that many thought could not go down. AMZN may hit 150 who knows, but I
know FOR SURE that these institutional players that account for a large percentage of
the short interest have been stung badly already but are still there and adding to current
positions

J,

Thank you for the information. I really appreciate it. I must admit I am not clear on what a short rebate is. Could you please give a brief explanation?

Glenn

I, too, have bought books from Amazon. Good people,
good service. Great company. The market is full of
optimism so often with companies who've taken a great
maiden voyage. These companies are always thoroughly
scrutinized after the initial celebration. Companies
should never be valued at 6-7 Billion with little equity.
This will result in the whole market becoming reputed
for manipulation. Companies should be rewarded for
producing equity, not for who they blow.

Mike

If smart money is short the stock then it is a very good news for bears. My belief was that most of the retail guys are short the stock and smart money is sitting on the sidelines waiting for some sort of weakness in the stock and then short it.
