>>I picked up some more shares just above 29 anticipating that the support will hold, though we will probably test again on Monday. Mondays seem to be days that COMS releases many of its press releases. Maybe one of them will be decent enough to move the stock. If Eric can instill confidence again, this stock can move! Just look at last year when we went from 28ish to 60 within weeks, after worries about the USRX merger lessened. Sentiment can change very quickly when the stock price starts moving up.<< Yes, once this stock starts going, it could go up real fast. Just like the move after earnings report. Seems like this stock is VERY VOLATILE sometimes. I remember last year, I bought it at around 37-38 and within days it was hitting near 50. It tore threw that range fast. On the other hand, when it went down from around 50, it was pretty fast also...down to 35. So something about the range in there that seems to be like a sharp ski slope.:-) About Eric instilling confidence...I like him...but lots of people don't seem to. They're not going to until he produces solid profits, which is understandable. But, I think what you alluding to is the potential of the company to be in the right place at the right time. For example, on this thread the last few days, the theme is Cable Modems. If they do all of a sudden get hot, 3Com is a key producer in this area. Same with xDSL, same with SOHO end-to-end equipment, ...gigabit ethernet will really take off end of this year or 1999....layer 3 switching. All these areas can suddenly turn hot especially in a good economic environment. I also think that once it gets on solid footing, it will stay that way for a few years since it's long term oriented thanks to Eric B. ...another reason why I'm keeping my focus on COMS. One note on breaking the support at around 30...it was relatively slow volume on a vacation week. This next week will be the real test. To be honest, I think it can go either way for the moment, but eventually we'll hit the 35 mark because the fundamentals will eventually kick in. joe
