Hi Thanh Dao
I hope you are employed now. I agree with you that Silicon Valley is going to slow down dramatically.

Please do not try to avaerage up on AMZN. I did it and feel very bad about this. Wondering every day as how am I going to get out of this. I know that sometime in future, this stock is going to get cloberred.

My average short price is about 50 and I too deep in red. Even my short position is very large.I was wrong in shorting this high flier and accept my mistake.

Based on what I saw on Thursday, the last one hour was very erratic. AMZN was be all over the place. If somebody tries to dump 50000 shares, MM would briong it down by 5 bucks. (reverse is true too)

thanh. hello, and good evening.
I was short the high fliers. I was a techno-phobe. I am not an engineer, and in fact may not even be that bright.
I have taken all of the money i have in this world, and have invested it in myself. I shorted companies that were dawgs and made money. I went long value companies and made money. i do not believe that the stock market is correctly priced, i think that asian problems are way way suppressed, similarly to the way that the S+L's problems were pushed to the back of the oven.
I DO believe in the p[ower of the internet, i DO NOT believe in the values the market has put on the stocks. One cannot post to a message board or send an email and not believe that the internet and commerce is not gonna fly. Especially when one is PAYING 10% of what he used to pay in commissions to trade. It has created many millionaires. The feeding frenzy we are seeing is quite similar to the loan and speculation frenzy we saw in S+L's. The cash for trash, bust-outs and other games played under the guise of bringin maximum shareholder value to the investors in the S+Ls bursted and hung quite a few small time investors. But it was the key to the big 80's.
On another side, the "big" salaries some of my friends are getting for brining It to companies are both justified and shall continue even during a crash, as the IT is a must for future business success.
i will broach the subject again, at your request.
