In this industry, getting a well established name is very important to future success. They have a name that will open doors. Without their past performances, they would be in that same boat as a thousand other "wantabees" that are out there. I think that they have rightly focused on "doing the business" instead of being like most BB companies who focus on "promoting the business". They are promoting the films just fine and after they have some financial success the stock will surge. It's pure speculation right now but that why the stock is so low.

To answer your question about what happened to Cannon . . . They decided to "divorce" (In their own words) . . . however, after 9 years they have decided that they work a lot better together than alone . . . I think that indicates a dedication to collaboration and a renewed vigor. Personally, I'm very excited about it.
