George, how can I communicate with you when you use X to mean so many different things? It is hard to understand you. Could you define all the ways you are using this symbol?

There may be an alternative to eugenics in the classical sense. Maybe one day we can take the infirm and somehow repair them at the genetic level. This obviates the need to breed them out, or winnow them thru periodic civil collapse. Of course, with the sharp rise in life expectancy and no good cheap way to take our collective butts out of the thin blue skin on this rock - we'll have to agree to dial back on the childbearing. That will require a total rethink of just what is a basic human right, X-wise.
