After looking into it, I think I would take COX over US West.
To reach the speed of COX@HOME you need:

"U S WEST MegaBit - Intensive business users and cyber-surfers can get 1-7Mbps for $120-$840/mo."

which looks like ADSL and when COX costs less than $50 for CDMA that is faster.

This brings up an interesting point...?
Didn't ATHM recently say they will be offering xDSLs? Would COX go that direction in certain areas, or are they planning to lay Fiber everywhere?
