I'll bite..

OK Pat, I followed the threads, tried to read German, and was fascinated by the formation of a new company called Siemens Newbridge Networks to handle the UK public carrier market. Siemens also appears to have have a nice war chest, (600 million sterling) from the sale of the old Plessey assets.

Drum roll please....
What does it all mean? How can we keep up? Will Siemens buy out Newbridge? How can any other company (e.g. Lucent) break through that alliance? Will they try? Or, who can Siemens/Newbridge go after next? Is the US market worth a major investment or is the bigger and easier money to be made in the ret of the world?
And so on. Never ends does it?
I think I'll just leave my shares where they are and go away for a year. The suspense is getting to me.
