Thanks, Ellen, a very interesting article. This agreement should be good for at least 3 or 4 small-scale wars, and that's just between the former Soviet states. Once Iran gets into the act, who knows. The really sad thing is Alertline picking up on the Struthers bu-fu and bafflegab. All their people are going to get into NTAH on the basis of the Caspian Pipe Dream, and when it becomes clear it isn't going to happen any time soon, and NTAH just keeps trying to win the game with bunt-single stripper wells, they're all going to bail, thus adding to the un-necessary volatility. Oh, well. Bottom line: 10 years, minimum, before a drop of oil flows anywhere from the Caspian. Yoohoo.... Nevtah... can you spell M-a-t-a-g-o-r-d-a? $^)
