FWIW - I bought "Story : Substance, Structure, Style, and the Principles of Screenwriting" by Robert McKee last week from barnesandnoble.com for 19.25 (they said the retail price was 27.50). Amazon.com's price was 22.40, and they quoted a list price of 32.00.
I don't know how common this is, but if competitors are systematically underpricing them, amazon.com should begin to suffer pretty soon.

AMZN around $128.50 open. Check out INKT gapping nearly $5.
Goldman upgraded.

The amount of money pouring into all the internet stocks is impressive. I'm impressed that AMZN can keep heading up in
spite of the major amount of money also flowing into the other
internet stocks.

(Briefing.com notes that Columbia Records is making a big effort
to get an internet order presence going ... offering 12 free CD's
to get started with them - looks like things will be competitive
in the online CD market.)
