I also listened to the conf. call. He was questioned on the 20% growth being conservative and did say that the 20% was more to manage expectations. If they do in fact close those 10-12 deals that slid past the quarter, 20% is too low. But he's right in that they will have to perform before anyone believes them again. Other highlights for those that missed the call:

1. Services will be upwards of 50% of the revenue.
2. North American sales were the culprit for the shortfall. They are ahead of expectations for Europe. Asia did have a significant effect.
3. They experienced the same competitive "win rate" as they have historically.
4. Luongo quotes: "The pipeline is as healthy as it's ever been", "We didn't do what we needed to do in North America...lost the basics", "20% growth is prudence."
5. The COO (John Jack?) will be taking over sales responsibility for North America.

You can take this for what it's worth. The stock shot up in the last few minutes of trading. I liken it to an inverse "buy on the rumor, sell on the news." Maybe now it's "sell short on the rumor, cover on the news." The opening will tell.
