Craig,

I'm with you. Enough of this NDA garbage. That has been the catch all phrase for longer than any of us want to remember. Smart money knows there is something wrong at Ancor. Question is, when will we find out what everyone else already seems to know?

Roger

Since you mention Yahoo, has anyone noticed the trend that is developing momentum lately? That portals like Yahoo seem to be evolving into the equivalent of what CBS NBC and ABC used to be to broadcasting. I know this is not totally an ANCOR subject, but there does seem to be some relevance, in that Windows was a light weight operating system for a PC that only needed SCSI to access the limited data, and now Windows has merged with the Browser which is merging with the Portals to become the center of the information universe. The bottom line is these portals are popular because they simplify the gateway to information. Like neural networks forming amongst the repositories of information, the portals that develop the best search mechanisms through connecting data in a meaningful way will rise above the rest by becoming the gateways of choice. The competition to give intelligent access/meaning to information should heat up amongst the competitors in this field and help drive the need for faster more colorful access to stored and free flowing information, to dazzle the viewers into pushing the search button (the ultimate remote control channel surfing instrument). Of course you can't totally dazzle the viewer/searcher/surfer until the bandwidth opens up a live action 3D world. But the trend is there and Fibre Channel is a next edge technology that can play a big part in this access.

Just my own free flowing current thoughts on why I should hang onto ANCOR. If they can make things happen, they could do quite well.
I will keep my fingers crossed that they have what it takes.
