Franko> The slang language of Harry Newton and his 820 page "official telecommunications dictionary" is totally responsible for my lack of basic telephony understanding. ggg

Facilities Based Carrier> Long distance carriers which own call switching equipment and transmission lines. <longer definition if interested> ggg

Common Carrier> A company that furnishes communications services to the general public. <longer definition if interested>

Harry has a way with messing up your head with his 2nd and 3rd tier definitions.

What I should have said instead of> "If you understand that using VoFR, you will have a return on your investment in less than 6 months which is commonplace, then you begin to understand "quicker profits".

Is " Many applications of VoFR give compiling reasons to migrate into VoFR, giving a return on investments with the applications in 6 about months.

About the 6 months, I read that some where? Yes, but I don't remember, maybe it was the night the bear almost got me in my sleep. gg

I have a few questions for ya in regards to VoFR>

1. Since queuing and transmission latency in both FRADs and switches are directly dependent on frame size, how might this size difference between ATM 53-byte format and the much larger frame-size "prove" VoFR
to be an advantage?

2. If most IP traffic in the world is carried over frame relay or ATM (layer 2) networks, how might you envision FNet's network in this area at todays date vs what we could expect in 5 years?

No hurry
