>> NTI CD Maker will not to DAO audi recordings. Highly not recommended for audio.<<

Sorry Sean but I am completely confused by the above two sentences in your latest post. Please rewrite so a xx year old has been can understand what you meant.

Plextor 8Plex in the Zeus Machine...Vibrations.

If I put a CD in the caddy and it starts to vibrate I get nothing but vibrations on short intervals. It will not play a CD nor can I view the contents in Explorer. It acts like it is confused, getting mixed signals. I would guess whatever is trying to read the CD is vibrating. These are not vibrations from a high speed spin. To my knowledge these are not multisession discs.

The drive is actually quiet and quick when I put one of the few CD's in that it likes. My guess is if I put the same drive in another machine it will work. Perhaps there is a bios setting I have to alter? A jumper setting on the drive? parity? Something in the SCSI chain? The IDE CDROM shows up as a SCSI drive on a SCSI controller even though it is on the IDE controller? I emailed Iwill support and asked them if this could be a bios issue. It has been a day and no response.

NTI CD-Maker PRO has an option for Disk At Once. It shows up in both the disk copy program and the Disk maker program. Perhaps they added this in the latest version. I am using ver 3.1.57

The guy that sold it to me burns a lot of CD's and uses both programs. He said that Adaptec Easy CD Creator 3.0 occasionally hangs and that he did not experience that with NTI CD-Maker PRO. One has to weigh the fact that he is a salesman.
