Almost filled the gap. I'd cover by close today unless you think YHOO is going to drag the whole group down further. Have you heard anything about a CBS and NSCP deal? But I DO agree with you on the fundamentals, problem is, none of these issues are currently trading on fundamentals.

From the YHOO thread...

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--It will be a couple of years before Internet portal companies become profitable, according to Forrester Research analyst Chris Charron.

Although general interest in the Internet has grown, Web sites are expensive to operate and sales and marketing costs remain high, Charron said in an interview with CNBC Tuesday.

The analyst said he also sees a consolidation among the Internet portal companies. "I think we can look for probably three no more than five players to really be broad-based consumer portals that succeed going forward," he said. Among the "major players," Charron noted that America Online Inc. (AOL) and YahooY Inc. (YHOO) are currently leading the pack, with companies like Microsoft Corp. (MSFT), Netscape Communications Corp. (NSCP) and Excite Inc. (XCIT) attracting a significant amount of traffic as well.

NSCP own browser and now has its own search engine. I used to go to YAHOO, SEEK or other search engines but not any more. It is obvious that new comer to internet if uses NSCP browser will use netscape search engine too. This means end to YAHOO. SEEK etc. I am long NSCP.
If YHOO could sell at 400 PE then NSCP is cheap. It will be bought out.
