True, but Dell & Gateway aren't technology leaders.They are low cost manufacturers and distributors. They'll go with the flow and follow the standards set by the leaders. That's where Mytec missed the boat. Mytec has $1,000 technology. Compaq is already below $100. The world knows that Compaq blew Mytec off, so the question is whether Mytec can overcome the obvious black stain. IBM are going there own way. I don't know about Toshiba. The thing is, there is an extemely long lead time to dealing with quality OEM companies. The Compaq news leaked out way ahead of the announcement and the announcement was almost 2 years ago. That's how long it took Compaq from start to finish. My guess, is that if they really had something or were close to scoring with one of the leading OEMs, we would have already heard about it. Also, at the annual meeting, Grecco would have made a reference to a large potential opportunity; but he didn't. Your assessment that biometrics may now take off is a correct one, but it will also lead to a long awaited shakeout in the industry.I'm tired of being accused of negative thinking, so I'll let you draw your own conclusions. However, I did blow out a few thousand more shares today. It felt good. Fortunately, I didn't lose much money and anyway, I made a few bucks in the past to offset the loss. That's why I'm still smiling. The other consolation is that Grecco's 600,000 options aren't likely to be worth much in the end, so I guess I got all upset over nothing. I rather feel sorry for the lard ass. He has a few big holes in his canoe.

Would you please tell which "competitive advantage" does Mytec offer? The working relationship between MYT and CPQ has been used for an extended period of time by MYT management (past) to hype the stock price and unload their shares. All sort of lies were told to explain management sales (divorce, buy a home, etc.). Why all the secrecy on the agreement between MYT and CPQ? They said it was imposed by CPQ (?). Maybe that agreement never existed(?). At the time we were told that MYT product could be sold for 49 $, in large volume, and MYT would get a 7 % (about) license fee. Plans were made for production by Celestica, at the time an IBM affiliate in Canada. Now Celestica is arranging for its IPO by Morgan Stanley and RBC Dominion (!). Now MYT product is ICSA certified, so I assume it works! My question to all is why Compaq has decided to work with Identicator. I believe the Company must explain. Was all we were told "false"? In that case it is a scam! I would suggest all shareholders to make pressure on MYT management for a clear truthful explanation of what went wrong with Compaq and why, and identify responsible people and decide on their punishment according to business ethics. MYT management is not keeping the shareholders informed of what is going on in the Company. Where is the business plan for next five years? Why MYT is not selling product? where is the problem? is it people or product? CounterForce is not performing: why? The 15 million loan from RBC (thanks MYT for having "accepted" it, while your cash was empty!) will not last for ever if sales are not made. Why take a loan and pay interest, when they could have made an IPO in the USA and give credibility to the venture, if there is a base for it? I have been a MYT shareholder for few years, I have trusted management and promoter/broker, and I am not ready to accept their professional incompetence and questionable practices. Hope we can have a serious debateand some action, otherwise this site useless. Thank you.
