Tom, you could always buy the options on the SOX, or buy into a sector fund like FSELX which has a strong weighting in the semi's. In fact I love the sector funds for bottom fishing which is something I never do with a stock because you never know how bad things maybe with an individual company until its too late. Otherwise I stick with P&F on the individual stocks to be on the safe side. Once the sector turns you can look up individuals issues that are performing well within any of the tech funds.Hope this helps.

Sorry Tom, I could not help my self, you set it up SO perfectly...Any way, I too have the same frustration in not being able to get in at the bottom. However as Tom told me, would you not rather know that demand was in control by waiting for that buy signal then try to guess the bottom only to have it fall further away... The buy signal is a clincher more times than not...

So I wait Also...or look for the Semi's that have not broken the BSL, and there are a few....
