I am with you about ecb holdings...how else will they attract money
flow?
You are the Russian authority(among your different caps)...just tell
me what you think about Germany holding all that paper..does that
give you faith in Germany?
also wonder how many people are scared to death of common currency
when the Europeans are probably behind the year2000 fix let along
software needed for the common currency...wonder where those billions
are coming from for the remediation..also with high unemployment, where
will the jobs come from?
when will Japan and India provide the backlash to US..wonder how
Japan feels about Clinton's pro China policies..
tax cuts were promised by Japan to take place next year..think the
"saving face" nature of the culture suggests it will definitely happen..market hates uncertainty..wonder if the market reads it as I...
noticed that the US is going to offer "a new type of savings bond
with a retrn pegged to inflation rates and a 30-year maturity"..
here we go.....

I don't think I should have buried that inflation savings bond item
in my prior post..
An alternative has been provided for small investors who want to be
prudent..supposedly the rate will start at 3.5 percent..
the only trouble besides the lower rate is that once again it gives
the government the incentive to not reflect true inflation!
I was waiting for something in the longer yield side since a few
weeks ago they announced a removal of certain notes..and a quarterly
offering rather than a monthly offering of another note..
I am still expecting the government to start issuing more 30 year
bonds now..I will be surprised if they don't
