mdfahy, Thanks for (hopefully) joining the group. I bet you must have some interesting insights having been with 3Com since 1993. If you don't mind, let me ask you one thing. What do you think, in your opinion, possessed Eric B. to buy USRX with the 'stuffed channel'. My opinion is that he probably new, and sort of new what he was getting into (possibly not knowing about the modem wars is what really did him in) but thought the benefits of the merger would be greater than the pain of relieving a stuffed channel. If it wasn't for the modem wars, 3Com would have cleared out the channel much sooner. Also, do you have any info on how modem sales are gong? How did you know those 2400 modems were all sold....? Hope you don't mind my digging for info., but I can never get enough of it when it comes to 3Com :-) welcome, joe
