Hi Folks

I wonder if anyone caught the following;

1) Decreased Revenue:
3rd Qtr 98 Rev $174 Mil vs. 4th Qtr 98 Rev $167.8 Mil

2)Regarding the comment on the 4th quarter report:

"It should be noted however that some of the circumstances and activities that contributed to the fourth quarter net income peak, such as exceptionally favourable taxes and the last part of the financial clean up in the Dun and Bradstreet acquisition are now behind Geac."

Apparently Geac's tax rate has been only approximately 14% of income before taxes. A quick looksee at some other companies tax rates for comparison shows tax rates of approximately 31% minimum.

Does this mean Geac will be paying at least double in taxes what it has paid in the recent past?

And now that the financial clean in the D&B acquisition is behind Geac, exactly how will this impact revenue and income?

Just my 2 cents. Anyone care to comment on these aspects?
