The financial report due out shortly will deal with year 1997. During 1997 they will show a loss like they did in 1996. I believe the loss will be considerably less than 1996. One thing I think we should remember AMGV wasn't visible on the Wal-Mart web site until the first quarter of 1998. Wal-Mart moved very slowly in developing their web site. In October 97 it was announced that AMGV was chosen as the exclusive BTO for Wal-Mart web site. The way Wal-Mart had the initial web site organized you needed to go through 4-5 different sites before you reached the actual computer section. This made it extremely difficult to view the computers displayed on the web site. Within the last 2-3 months navigation through the web site has been streamlined considerably. It is clearly marked and easy to view the computers. Until about 6 weeks ago 2-3 computer companies had their desktops on display. Since then only AMGV had their desk top computers on display. AMGV made the premature news release in October about being chosen for the Wal-Mart BTO. Only a few wire services picked it up. When Wal-Mart does the announcement introducing their own BTO the results will be entirely different. Besides all the wire services picking it up, radio, TV, newspapers and magazines will all highlight the fact that Wal-Mart is taking a big step into securing a percentage of the BTO computer market.
With the advent of the Wal-Mart BTO it will indeed over shadow past numbers for AMGV IMO.
Have a good one.
