The major difference between Christianity and all others is MAJOR indeed....Christianity knows Christ to be God. All others do not. I repeat do not! Those who do not, are not Christian.! Plain and simple. There are no compromises! None!

Shalom,

You can keep telling yourself that over and over again but you'll only be fooling yourself. If you had hard evidence you would produce it and demonstrate it.

It's you that admits the Bible has inconsistencies and errors. You admit there have been additions made to the Bible long after it was written (John 5:7, Mark 16:9-20, etc.). Do you deny these charges?

If you admit to them, then you admit to believing in a tampered book. One that you cannot be 100% sure is totally from God.

Mr.Norris, you know as well as I, that if someone inserted within the koran that Muhammad really was God,you would believe it in an instant,if you already do not, and you would shout it on the steeple of the highest Christian Church in the world....No questions asked.

This is so absurd and you'll only convince those that hate Islam. Why not prove your position instead of attacking Islam? Is your foundation not strong enough?

I haven't even yet to touch upon the Qur'an with those on this thread that are willing to have a logical discussion instead of one where they scream and yell what they believe in. You do not answer the issues at hand but profess over and over again your beliefs without ever stopping to examine them.

I have proof I have yet to show but will show to Steve and others that demonstrates the Qur'an to be of divine origin (unless you'd like to say Muhammad (Pbuh) knew the future, understood the origins of the universe, understood how the embryo is formed in the womb, etc.). I come here with proof, not yelling what I believe.

Mark 1:14-15
14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Yes! Believe the Gospel, the same as the Qur'an tells us. However, the Bible is not the gospel. It is a collection of books that were never meant to be placed with each other. The Gospel is the message that God sent to Jesus (Pbuh), not what Paul and others wrote about Jesus (Pbuh). That is not the gospel but the lying pen of the scribes (Jeremiah 8:8).

I hope you will actually consider a logical discussion that involves proof and evidence from your texts and explanations instead of condemning others. The True Christian submits him/herself to God and God alone. "Hear O Israel Our Lord is One." "There is no god except God." I will not ascribe partners with God nor compare Him to His creations. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth.

Lo! He has subdued these things unto us, and we are not capable of subduing them. Verily, we are returning to our Lord.

Peace Be Unto You,
Ray

><>...And God divided the light from the darkness...><>
Genesis 1:4

A believer has two principles at work within him. In his natural estate he was subject to one principle only, which was darkness; now light has entered, and the two principles disagree. Mark the apostle Paul's words in the seventh chapter of Romans: I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin, which is in my members.

How is this state of things occasioned? The Lord divided the light from the darkness. Darkness, by itself, is quiet and undisturbed, but when the Lord sends in light, there is a conflict, for the one is in opposition to the other: a conflict which will never cease till the believer is altogether light in the Lord. If there be a division within the individual Christian, there is certain to be a division without. So soon as the Lord gives to any man light, he proceeds to separate himself from the darkness around; he secedes from a merely worldly religion of outward ceremonial, for nothing short of the gospel of Christ will now satisfy him, and he withdraws himself from worldly society and frivolous amusements, and seeks the company of the saints, for We know we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren.

The light gathers to itself, and the darkness to itself. What God has divided, let us never try to unite, but as Christ went without the camp, bearing his reproach, so let us come out from the ungodly, and be a peculiar people. He was holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners; and, as he was, so we are to be nonconformists to the world, dissenting from all sin, and distinguished from the rest of mankind by our likeness to our Master.
Charles Spurgeon
