All- Here's an interesting article on how the industry insiders see the current market situation: biz.yahoo.com XTO, an e&p company, has made investments in other e&p companies such as SGO and WZR because they believe the current market sentiment represents a rare opportunity.

that & DO taking another big hit.... I thought when I switched to DO that i would have the "relative" safety of the deepwater and no debt. That was at $44(!) For those with more cash than i have left ...may i make a suggestion? The jan year 2000 DO leaps strike price 30 are 11 3/4 today. If anyone believes DO will hit 45 between now and next summer that is a double. Let's put it this way...if DO doesn't hit 45 by next summer we are all dead meat-g-
