"It is still way to early. The shareholders meeting is not until the 21st and it will take some time to do a shake out. Based on everything I have read and heard, I really don't think there will be much change at the CEO level and maybe not even a sell off of divisions or the company. Hackman has already declared that the company is being redirected, they have announced a number of new products, got out of the graphics accelerator business (no way are they getting back in contrary to some reports) and the have installed a very competent COO/President in David French. I just don't think that with all the major changes and new products that one should expect anything such as a buyout/merger. At least not for now."

I agree. The meeting is still two weeks away (Teo isn't even officially on the board yet). These few product releases are the company's attempt to put out as much good news before the meeting as possible. In fact, they do look good but we can't take that to the bank. Hopefully the fab agreements will convince a major manufacturer that Cirrus can provide in bulk. But for now I wait for the meeting, get Teo on the BoD, hear his plan and evaluate it.

FWIW, I'm long and finally making money on this stock. I think it will be a great performer for a couple years if all goes well.

JMO,
John
