IMHO Welcome to the smart money side! Stock Is being painted by the media hype and yet they produce the most efficient chip making equipment in the world. This stock will lead the turnaround and I think it is bottoming. Know what you know and hold with confidence ! Refreshing to hear a positive word Thank You ! It Is always darkest before Dawn! Bob

Trufflette, <<on buy signal>> it does seem to be a buy signal... but... I see the other side of the signal... on two occasions in the last three weeks at or near the 38 mark, NVLS had a strong reversal day, closing at low end of daily range after making solid advances... looks to me more like a reflex rally off technical double bottom that got caught in a crossfire... first is the 50-day moving average between 38-39, the MA coming down steady and strong... second is deteriorating fundamentals... each reversal appears to be a weekly reversal as well... looks like a fake buy signal for the past few weeks, we are seeing an erosion of the brokerage analyst bullshit -- that the second half of 1998 will see a recovery in the technology sector... I for one never bought this load of dung with AMAT warning, the chipfab niche may be under serious pressure shortly... even the best of the class will likely get hurt, but at least be the first out of the ditch just one guy's opinion, Jim Willie
