I guess my 1K wasn't quite enough to end us on an uptick.<g> On another note, I've been considering the INTC / ADPT rumor and recalled the following.........Intel Cancels PIIX6 Chipset Plans which included an interface to IEEE1394 peripherals. Intel has advised buyers to select a PCI card or 1394 chip from Adaptec Corp or Texas Instruments Inc. while it develops a "future implementation to facilitate the broad adoption of 1394 technology". techweb.com hmmmmmm... future implementation to include purchasing ADPT???? It's really not all that outlandish, and at any rate does seem to make a lot more sense than an acquisition by SUNW. Larry
