Gottfried,

Thanks for the correction. Looks like a token gesture, though, don't you think? If I were him, that's exactly what I would be doing - holding, because in 3-5 years, his shares will be worth much more, but in the meantime not buying more (except maybe a small amount as a grandstand gesture to the Street) until it becomes a screaming buy AND orders have started to pick up.

Bob

Gottfried,

He filed to sell 144,000 sh last August...but apparently never sold..

Interesting, selling then would have been great timing for him. Maybe he was ready to sell some and then the Asian problems started to appear.

As of June 30, the average Nasdaq stock was deep into a bear market (defined as a 20% or more decline), or down 31% from its 52-week high.

Absolutely! Actually, the semi-equips have been in a bear market for a few months. I think this has been partially hidden by the performance of large caps like AMAT and NVLS. They have not been beat up as badly. A lot of the smaller stocks have broken 52 week lows.

Stock prices have generally stabilized the last few weeks and the $64000 dollar question is whether this is the bottom or just a tease.
