All,

New to the thread, trying out SI. I'm in ADPT, actively averaging down (would rather be averaging up ! LOL).

Its interesting to view the dissention among holders regarding takeover speculation and share-buyback possibilities. I would not expect to see the company buying back anything (even if they could during the current "quiet period") until they get through this rotten quarter and can pick up shares even cheaper. I expect earnings to be poor, but keep in mind that this company is profitable and is being traded at fire-sale prices ($13 vs. $6/share in cash).

I would like to know if anyone knows something about the "Jalepeno" project at ADPT ? Also, I have heard the rumors re. INTC and understand that FTC issues may have scared them away, but that there is considerable interest from others, as well, however not SUNW.

Being a long-term long, I would rather see an independent APDT. I'm confident that they will turn this around after writing off the current quarter. I would rather get it over with, and move forward. Believe me, this company understands its existing and potential product markets, and is actively addressing these markets with new products and heavy R&D.
