Pete, thanks for the posting. I took a quick look at HZN, and since it has just started with its first major acquisition, it is difficult to figure out whether this would turn out to be a good investment. As a rule of thumb, I'd like to see a management track record before buying the stock. In this case, one has to be specially conversant in the biotech/generic drugs biz to gauge the future prospects. Without this sort of specific knowledge, HZN is just another hopeful venture company coming out into the big competitive world where maybe 1 out of hundreds survive after being born.

You sound confident that this stock has potential, so tell us more about Anticort, and the business of manufacturing generic drugs. How will it compete with the large manufacturers? Who is Doug Walker, the president. What is his background. What are his accomplishments? Are there analysts reports on the company. What are the strengths of this start-up company that will ensure a high probability of success for its stock holders?

I have a general moot question for anyone. How do investors rationalize and buy into start-up companies? Do they buy because their friends tell them its a good buy. Do they buy because agents promote and sell the stock to them. Why do people buy stocks of start-up companies with no track record ????

Concerning HZN,
Hello, it is interesting to read about the generic drugs of SI ,
BUT is it not the commercial application of some recent discoveries
that will actually propel the stock? Read carefully the documentation,
it is the research that is patented that has the greatest potential.
It is one of the most important discoveries in HIV. promote
HZN it will be big.
