WSJ: In the Senate vote Thursday on the overall IRS bill, Democrats Paul Wellstone of Minnesota and Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia cast the only dissenting votes. They cited provisions tacked onto the bill that would cut some veterans' benefits and increase tax breaks for upper-income families.

upper-income family - anyone who's a net tax payer.

I happened to be in my car at lunch time today and heard Rush read something over the air indicating that Lewinsky was near a deal with the IC's office. Basically according to the statement he read, Lewinsky will admit to sex with the President and also name the author of the talking points.

On a lighter note, Rush mentioned that a significant percentage of the job growth created by the Clinton administration was due to the appointment of numerous ICs to investigate him, his wife and his cabinet! JLA
