Based on stock action, the worst could be behind us. When PLXS didn't pre-announce before the end of the quarter, I began to believe that everything was fine also...however, even if they make the Q2 estimates, I still think the forward-looking statements would have to be cautionary. I believe the mid-June downgrades were intended to guide the stock lower based on an expectation that the outlook is not entirely rosy.

Every other ecm is having this difficulty...hard to believe PLXS would not see some impact, even if minor, from the current industry slowdown. I also question the motivation of late May 1998 insider selling where the chairman (I think) unloaded about 25% to 30% of his holdings at $21 to $22. Maybe I'm reading too much into it?

Therefore, I still believe there is downside risk associated with possible soft outlook for remainder of year.
