Robert,

Yes, but just think you can buy on margin. You still have a long way to go:).
However, you may still run out of time. I don't see this one taking off till next year. Am I selling? No. This is now a one day news stock. The gains much to tonyt's delight evaporate the same day of the news. I am catching on, I sold some calls at todays high. I repurchased the August 15's yesterday after selling a couple of months ago for a nice gain. I filled my lot of SRGN yesterday. Tony has suggested that I look at this stock as a trading stock, and for that I am thankful. I do that with part of my holdings and it takes the monotony out of waiting for the big climb.
I don't see any news yet that can cause an Entermed increase that I would miss.
I am convinced that biotechs will eventually be the rage, and that the whole sector will be the focus. As a sector it is much bigger than the internet stocks, and as the quality of the science is recognized in a number of the biotechs and, a few blockbusters hit the market, we will all do well. Can you wait out the millinium?

Re: Price Action on News

Well another week of positive news from LGND without much price movement.

As a matter of fact, my relative performance indicators actually deteriorated, ex-publication. Here is the original post regarding my indicators:

Message 5127781

The "Patience" index (relative performance of LGND to SPX over duration of this thread) is -87.05%, down one point in the last two days.

I am changing the "Hope" index to reflect the appreciation needed for LGND to match the performance of the SPX over thread history. That index now stands at 103.59% (smaller is better). It had been 102.92% before the Science article was released.
