I strongly suggest that you guys listen to the DIMD conference call. Why do you think TDFX went up, after that negative news from DIMD which in surface had validated the Montgomery's downgrade? DIMD is coming out with Savage, Banshee, and TNT in Q3, but when asked directly they responded that TDFX (Voodoo2) is the high end due to its GLIDE, where Banshee is also compatible. They reminded the analysts forget about the bench comparison, the gamers are taking advantage of the glide. I do, however, think that S3 could be a bigger challenge than nVidia (TDFX is only worried about nVidia) due to their marketing and manufacturing strengths.
