David, I think if you follow my exchanges with George Dawson, and the references to the StorageTek and combined StorageTek/Brocade press releases, you will see that Brocade has what appears to be a way to connect private loop devices to the fabric. (This may be similar to Arcxel's stealth mode.) George has also done additional research into this issue. I think this was a feature that Ancor DID NOT have during the initial OEM qualification cycle. This could certainly explain why Ancor has had difficulty penetrating the OEM storage market early on.
