Well, he was nice enough to give us all a warning. Why is it we refuse to believe, what we see before our eyes? We all know the rational thing to do "protech our investments" do we? No. Why? Because we all want the "big one". Can't accept a little less, greedy bastards we are.

I did sell 2000 shares, I bought last year and sold last year, made a few thousand and hung onto the rest, which I own fairly cheap, around 17. I did sell July 30 and 35 puts, around March, without checking actual date. Hung in all this time and watched them grow in premium, without getting ulcers. It appears, if nothing else, I'll break even or even make a couple K. Not bad? Since I would have had to put out 65K to buy them or take a huge loss. Patience some times does pay-off.

I have changed some what in my expectations and future for market. I'm very cautious and ready to push button, if China devalues there dollar. Man, you talk about dumping cheap goods, will drown!

Have a Great Weekend!
Ken

The posts on this thread are very informative so I would appreciate help from anybody to answer this question: If I want to put a stop selling loss order on Compaq before Monday, What is the right price?

I really hate to see my shares go back to the 20's but I don't want to sell right now since my average is 36+ and I don't want to miss the chance of breaking even or adding a bit to my portfolio.

Thanks for your help in advance!
