You know, I'm going to miss you while your away! Your an intelligent person with very good skills in observation. Yes, the alarm business dovetails with the cable business in many ways, but in Rogers case, excessive debt, has caused the firm to divest itself of fluid assets. Our experience indicated that Rogers was fairly disorganized in the Alarm division and the writing was on the proverbial wall for what was to occur. If the same company was Shaw Communications, things might have been different. Nevertheless, the entry of another American Giant will bring to the marketplace interesting aspects, and not the least being greater public awareness in Security systems. Longevity in the Industry will come to those who persevere, focus and diversify. The rewards will be continuous and steady. Longterm is the key and MYT if not influenced by short term pressures will blossom. They will do so with others that are in this industry that are also long term. My father alway told me, Rome wasn't built in a Day! Regards; John
