OT **** Just a bit of blatent self promotion.

A new addition to the portfolio part of the web site is an AIM Model Portfolio based on the trading strategies of AIM. This strategy involves automatic buy and sell signals generated by stock price movement. In general, the system will have you selling portions of your positions as the stock price moves higher and buying additional portions when the stock price moves lower. This takes the emotion out of investing, and goodness knows we could all use help in that area. Let's follow the AIM trading and see how it works.

We're at jump.to

The AIM portfolio is composed of the 5 of the best long term plays in the offshore area and has been created with a 25% cash reserve level. I've also included the buy and sell amounts and price points for the next set of AIM triggered trades.

If you are interested in the offshore drilling area you might want to stop by and take a look at what we are doing. There is a free newsletter which deals with offshore drilling industry information ranging from market intelligence and company news to rumors and opinions from the streets of Houston and beyond.

Thanks to Bruce Bowman for passing along the spreadsheet created by Bill Riedeman. Also thanks to Tom Veale for his informative website which is where I was first exposed to the AIM method.
