Jim, you are just breaking my heart!! I wish I could send you ten dollars, but that is about the amount of the overdraft in my checking account at the moment.

This reminds me of how upset I am with Wells Fargo Bank. We made a deposit, the cash part of which the teller always counts in front of us, before the deposit is accepted. Then several days later a computer-generated letter arrived, stating that we did not deposit that much cash, and debiting our account $22.00.

I called the 800 number, but after twenty-five minutes of waiting on hold while various levels of supervisors were consulted, all they could do was promise me they would "research" it and send a letter within ten days. I know that the teller was just somehow short that day, and decided to balance it on the back of our account. We have the deposit receipt, and the teller counted our cash. I think I will go down to my branch on Monday and cause a scene with the manager, which might be more effective.

Sorry for raving!! I am on the warpath about white man stealing wampum!!!!!!

I have very complicated feelings about Disney. I think workers at their amusement parks are overcontrolled, and underpaid. But their stand against the conservative right balances that out to some degree, for me at least.

Hey Jim,

From what I hear you Native Americans have a racket. Let the white eyes have the land and let them build on it and make it valuable and then win it back from them in your casinos.

I heard that Palm Springs was partially built on reservation ground that everyone had forgotten about. The few surviving members of one tribe got well over that boo boo.
