If a buyout is a possibility (hypothetically of course), what would be a reasonable price? Also, would a buyout be indirect confirmation that the Bemer technology really works?

TPI is negotiating to be purchased by a well-known, publicly-traded, US-based Information Services company. This is what I've been told.

So, let me see if I have this straight. You possess the type of information that only true insiders could possibly (legally) have. That leaves five possibilities, IMO:
a) You are an insider
b) You are friends with insiders
c) You found this info out using good DD
d) You are hyping
e) You are just a genuinely nice guy

Let's see, if TPI is bought out, according to the above:
a) You have just violated an SEC rule regarding the dissemination of inside information, and as sure as night follows day you have just invited an investigation
b) If people believe you and TPI's price goes way up, you have just made the buyout more expensive and thus put it in jeopardy thereby possibly screwing your insider friend
c) You expect people to believe you did such great DD on a stock you admit you "don't care what it does" and you haven't bought any because "it's not SOESable"?
d) You are looking to dump and want to get the stock price higher.
e) Then nice to know there are people so nice they risk SEC investigations posting the epitome of inside information.

Did I miss anything?

Am I the only one who sees red flags?

Buyout, smiout!

I been on many stock boards that as soon a price decreases by a
substantial percent, shareholders start lighting candles and start
praying to the buyout GODS. This is normally irrelevant in the direction of the company. Being invested here for several months
I'll state the same statements that I'd made numerous times on the
PSIX board "I hope not". Being invested in a $1.+ company that is
just starting to grow has a tremendous upside potential. Their are
many factors here that if things progress we can all make a lot of
money sans buyouts. I really was impressed with the patience and
candor that CEO expressed in the conference call. All revenue
projections and contract talk is now without any VERTEX 2000. I think
on the conservative side the company can continue to grow make
money and the stock price will rise. Vertex can be the gravy that
has the potential to make this stock react strongly.
