Justa...re: AMAT recommendation last weekend and Jan 10/11 There seems to be a lot of interest in AMAT this weekend...over 100 new posts on the SI AMAT thread since last night! I agree with BB, dollar costing into AMAT. As anyone who follows that stock knows, the stock is volatile! Lots of opportunity for traders was well as long term investors right now, IMHO. BTW, I agree with your assessment of the Jan 10/11 discussion. BB rarely says BUY a stock on the air. My recollection is that during discussion of AMAT on that day, he said that the stock will not reach 25 again, and that he thought there was good value in large-cap semiconductor stocks such as AMAT. His prediction of 25 as a floor may, however, prove slightly off, as the stock may be tested in the coming days...but I look as it as a buying opportunity, not a BB bashing opportunity. ;-)) Regards..Bill S

As for individual stocks, if he can't accept being wrong once in a while then I agree with you, he shouldn't discuss them. Let's just have a show that tells us, "the big money has been made already and we can all look forward to 6 - 8%", yawn.
