Actually it was $75 12 months ago.

I can't understand why they don't just go to a monthly billing vs. this annual thing. I think it would actually be better for them. Though I think the lifetime membership is better for us. e.g. if they charged $9.95 a month, my $75 was used up in less than 8 months. @$200 it's 20 months. And I think that once one joins SI, it's not so likely that many would cancel. Anyway, I just don't think these SI people are really strong business people and haven't thought this through. But that's just MHO.

BTW, can you still read SI for free and the membership lets you post. I always thought that was REALLY dumb since there are many people who probably will never post a msg.
