Dear Mr Charred -- yes, I have been to Las Claritas on several occasions and toured the whole Kilometer 88 area -- incidentally this was BEFORE any involvement in the Crystallex story, and was in no way initiated or sponsored by that company.

I have indeed traveled quite extensively throughout Venezuela over the last almost 10 years (came here September 1989!) on multiple reporting assignments as well as for pure touristic pleasure -- it's a very very beautiful country, although some spots (like Km.88) may be sad examples of how nature has been raped by greed.

As for specifically how Crystallex would reach US$23, $30 or even $100, I wouldn't have the slightest clue since I am NOT an investment analyst or adviser.

You presumably got that figure from the fact that Crystallex had been involved in an offer from Placer Dome which amounted to US$23.00 but which was reportedly rejected in negotiations with Robert Fung.

best regards
Roy S. Carson
