last,

ALTR,

I'm hoping ALTR is turning and this isn't just reaction to the stock split. I would open a position and buy on dips to 31. I also like ADI

recent news biz.yahoo.com

Music,
I'm not sure if netscape communicator 4. is required that's what I use.

Jeff

Last - Going back - re Holiday effect.

Haven't been following all msges. so this may have been covered previously but just did a bit of tracking re Gems picks & how well they performed over July 4 period.

Wow! Either holiday effect was really working or the picks were outstanding or both, I suspect.

Of the 14 picks you gave as Long/marginally bullish, Watch list 7/1, all 14 were good to ex winners if held to July 6-7 & some longer or still holding.

12 stocks on watch list for June 29 (Market Gems) mostly went up, with a few, such as MTC & NE staying abt even due to poorer earnings reports.

Re Jenna's Message 5168120
these rose nicely but presumably primarily due to earnings, with AXNT the poorest with an unfavorable news item on July 6.

The major indexes of course tracked up either due to holiday effect or other causes. Many factors, move things & to rely too heavily on any one would be foolish, but seems we had a 'Holiday effect' this time around.
