Bailey White is a commentator on NPR. I don't listen as much as I used to, but I remember enjoying the stories she shared on the radio.

We are moving into our new house later this week. It will be nice to have the family back together for good. Big yard to mow and lots of hedges to trim, etc., though.

We now refer to our 9 month old as The Shriek. He has learned how to scream and really likes to hear himself. Of course it drives the rest of us crazy.

Yes, Ma'am. I will, Ma'am. ::grin:: There's a section at our local
bookstore for Southern writers, so they might have it. Otherwise, there's that wonderful, dangerous, place: Amazon.com. From the title it sounds like she is onto it.

I'm reading M is for Malice right now and then have N is for Noose
waiting. I got the N book in hardback, but I just couldn't help myself.
Grafton is my current fave mystery writer. Though J.A. Jance is right up there, but I wish she were more prolific. I noticed a new book by Sara Paretsky, that is not a mystery and the cover blurb enticed me to get. Maybe next time. I enjoy her mystery's a lot, though the movie they did of one butchered it. One of the saddest adaptations I've seen. They took a wonderful character and turned her into slop. Oh well. And I have the Hobbit on the read list. I've never read Tolkien.

Oh yeah, watched "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" last night. Makes ya wanna go to Savannah. The "lady" was indeed delightful.

And kudos on your butt-kicking, response-getting endeavor. :)
