Doug.. I don't know about being one of the 'creators'....

SI has been around since 1995 sometime and there were lots of members, I believe, when I joined (and lots of postings but not near as many as today). I didn't even start the original PeopleSoft thread. I think I found SI surfing for PSFT info.

Anyway, I guess that was their marketing idea and I guess I have benefited. I agree with Melissa, however. If they hike and hike up prices, are people going to feel it is worthwhile. After all, this is not a site to get unbiased, professional investment advice (as far as one considers the term professional).

Speaking of taking off, is this the most popular or best site for investment chat/discussion/postings, etc on the technical business sector? I do not poke around at other sites which might be similar, and I do not tend to look for TOP 10 of this or that.

Addendum --- You know, I never see the SI home page anymore and I just went and browsed around there a bit. I see they (we?) have won quite a lot of recognition and awards. I think we can all share in that to some degree. If it weren't for the quality of participation here and elsewhere, SI wouldn't have much, would they?

Now we just need to find out the Top 10 threads in SI......hmmm<g>.
