The SEC proctologists are no doubt digging for dirt.
I do not know how it will impact SI. There are doubtless crooks posting and moving stocks under funny names or totally faked credentials that look like real people to us, like C.L. Miltimore, a person who never existed and touted stcok. SEC check him out.

I believe you are mistaken about the Yahoo threads. From what I heard, they have only shut down the OTC BB threads. Too much trouble for too little of a return.
